Choosing the right PC for your employees is a balance of function, usability and cost. We spec laptops, desktops and tablets to meet each end user’s need, from standard desktops to executive tablets, rugged laptops for field engineers, or thin clients for a customer service team. Partnerships with manufacturers like HP, Dell, Lenovo and others allow us to offer business class hardware at a competitive price point.
Desktops
Traditional, stationary workstations well-suited for office or desk jobs. They come in a variety of configurations, including all-in-one units where the monitor and computer are integrated into a single device, or traditional tower setups where the computer is a separate unit from the monitor.
Laptops
Highly portable, laptops are ideal for employees who travel for work, visit client sites, or work remotely. They combine the functionality of a desktop with the mobility of a lightweight, battery-powered system. Laptops are available in various performance tiers, including high-performance devices for tasks like graphic design or video editing, or “tough books” for outdoor or industrial use.
Laptops are now also available in convertible or “2 in 1” models, which combine the the features of a laptop or tablet. These laptops can flip, fold, or detach to become a tablet when needed, providing versatility for things like sales presentations or field work.
Tablets
Compact and easy to carry, they can be highly effective tools for meetings and presentations, and many can be connected to projectors or screens for displaying slideshows, documents, or videos.
Tablets can replace paper forms, enabling employees to collect, record, and upload data in real time. For example, a nurse or doctor may use a tablet to update a patient’s chart while making hospital rounds.
Tablets can serve as digital signage or kiosks, displaying information, advertisements, property maps, etc. They can also be used for customer self-service activities such as appointment check-in, order placement, waiver signing, etc.
Thin Clients
Thin clients are lightweight devices that rely on a central server or cloud infrastructure to run applications and store data, versus storing data locally. They work well in environments such as call centers or customer service teams, and may work well also for remote workers who may access company data from anywhere, or in organizations with high-volume application usage but limited investment in hardware.
